Another Unicorn In The Novel

Anyone else who's also read the novel should remember another unicorn that was mentioned. Schmendrick speaks of another wizard named Nikos who transformed a unicorn into a human to save him from hunters. Sadly, this unicorn stayed human and died. The way it was described, and even the way it's illustrated in the graphic novel, apparently that other unicorn was wide awake after Nikos completed the spell, and didn't seem to have signs of emotional distress.
Anyone have any idea/s why when Schmendrick turns the main unicorn into a human she's unconscious for a few moments afterward and then in complete emotional distress (understandably), but when Nikos did the same thing to the other unicorn he was both physically and emotionally unfazed by it?
Yeah, I'm a deep thinker. LOL

The main unicorn had her humanity forced upon her. She did not consent to it.

Nikos was a lot more powerful than him and could confer immortality. He made Schmendrick immortal, after all. Her main distress came from feeling her body dying.

So that other unicorn wasn't in the movie? Because I do not recall it appearing.

My Little Pony + Black Sabbath + Judas Priest + Iron Maiden + Metallica + Pantera = LIFE

For the unicorn male who stayed human, that was his choice just like it was Ariel the mermaid's choice.

"Unicorn, mermaid, vampire, sorceress! No name you'd give her would surprise me i love whom i love"
