I understand the praise for the movie, but it creeped me out as a kid and still to this day it's extremely disturbing.

Yes indeed, this movie does have its dark and deep moments. But I love it anyway. 

That's what makes it so great. It's not afraid to be dark and deep.

Can't stop the signal.

It made me cry. But it never felt creepy. It was an uplifting message and I loved the music in it.
