It's too bad a sequel was never made. The original, LEMON POPSICLE had like 8 sequels? I've only see the second one.
Even if they didn't follow the original, would be neat if the original cast all returned for a 25 years later kind of sequel for DVD. I seriously doubt there'll be another remake, and if so, it probably won't have the same ending.

There´s going to be a remake from Brett Ratner but a sequel would be nice something like 30 years later. It would be everyone reuniting and coming to terms with the past and forgiving each other.
shareSo I heard - 3 years ago. Can't find anything online regarding this, tho. Brett hasn't exactly gained street cred since then. Too bad. This movie, for the unpredictable ending and soundtrack - and the way it truly did burn itself into my young memory - is unique, and worthy of reconsideration.
