go back with Karen? He had already made her pregnant then dumped her?? Why didn't he just move on with another girl and leave Karen alone??

She's hot, and he already knows she puts out. Not trying to be crass, but that's often how a teen boy's mind works.

A fair question. I didn't see what was so special about her to begin with. But he betrayed her in the worst and most unforgivable way, so whatever happened to her after that is on her for getting back with him.

It's obvious Rick wanted her because Gary loved her. It was an ego thing, believing he was the bigger man because he could take her from Gary.
