This movie needs a sequel and making it now would make perfect sense...

A perfect sequel to this movie would be about Gary's son and Karen's daughter. Both of the kids are around 17.

Gary has a great wife, a great job, and a great life.

Karen has been divorced 3 times and has many problems.

Gary's son starts dating Karen's daughter. One day Karen goes to pick up her daughter at Gary's house and Gary answers the door. Instant memories fly ( even flashbacks ).... Karen ( Who has realized the errors of her way ) falls for Gary.

Gary still has feelings for Karen but is trying to make the right decisions.

It would be great to see some resolutions and not to mention the original cast.

( This is completely disregarding the sequels to Lemon Popsicle )

Any thoughts?

Sounds like a good idea for a sequel.. One question, would Rick be a part of this sequel? As one of Karen's ex husbands.. or would they make him gay like he is in real life?

They would have to bring Rick back in someway. I wish they would make it!! Even if it was direct to DVD!!
