I cant think of any movies that end like this. You hardly ever see it being done. Its always the guy ending up with the girl in every single romcom and rom drama out there. Such a bold and risque ending but so realistic. I wish more movies would end like this, dont know why Hollywood has to always have a happy cliche ending.

That scene hit me so hard as a teen. I could literally feel the crushing pain he must have felt.

shareending was the best part of the movie. the facial expresssions on all 3 actors was spot on. no words were needed for all 3 actors. the music was also just perfect.
anyone who has been in a similar situation would feel the weight of that scene.

This is an israeli 'take' on 'american' life by two crazy (but we love them!) jews - Menahem Golan and Yoram Globus.
I watched the Canon documentary and they talked about this movie, pretty much gave everything away including the ending. I still wanted to see it even though it's not normally my type of movie. I was still almost shocked when the credits rolled as Gary was driving away.

Actually it's based off something that actually happened to Boaz Davidson, my guess the ending is how he felt in real life when it happened to him.
