very realistic ending! who thought so?

i thought it was a very realistic ending. yea it was sad, but it shows that that's how a lot of girls are and they'd go for the bad boy. she went back to that a-hole cause she like being treated that way and i think she just used gary cause he said she'd help her and pay for her abortion.

True, many women do go for the bad boy, but it could have also been something much more understandable - Karen was simply smitten with Rick for no better reason than Gary being smitten with Karen - it just happens.

We don't really get to choose who we crush on.
