THIS IS A GOOD MOVIE!

I don't know why most comments say this movie isn't any good but I think its as good as any other war movie I've seen. It's better than Pearl Harbor, but I guess that's not saying much. Olivier isn't Hamlet in this, but he does a good job, even if he does look like a transvestite in it from the make-up he wears. Lots of action scenes, and the movie is as competently directed and acted as any other movie from the early 80's. I wouldn't use it to teach a history lesson, since the time frame seems very sped up- it takes as Jacqueline Bisset as much time to drive across Korea in a beat-up car as does for the Korean War to unfold. But really it is a good movie if just to spend part of an afternoon watching it.
