My biggest quibble - the equipment is all wrong.

The combat scenes in this film, in my opinion, are not really that bad. There's lots of action, tactics, explosions, semi-realism, and good squib-work.

However, none of the equipment (except for the howitzers) is appropriate. All the North Koreans have STEN SMG's and what look like Enfield rifles. In reality they would have been issued PPSH-41 SMG's, have Mosin-Nagant M38/M44 Rifles, and Maxim Machine Guns (none of which appear in the film). Also, the North Korean tanks are even called T-34's when they don't look even the slightest bit like T-34s. They're obviously American-made M-41 Walker Bulldog tanks... just with camo covering on them to make it less glaring.

I realize war movies, for budgetary reasons, can not get everything 100% correct, but didn't they think the audience would notice that the Americans and North Koreans are fielding the exact same tanks?

Also, pay attention to Ben Gazzara's gun on the raid on the lighthouse. He has an MP-40 (?! - I assume a reference to his character in BRIDGE AT REMAGEN) on the exterior shots, but on the interior, he's suddenly got an M3 greasegun.
