I don't know if this has been asked, but if Michael was Sandy's cousin why didn't the other pink ladies know him? If Frenchy is still a pink lady and says Sandy and Stephanie are both two of her very closest friends, why didnt anyone else connect the two? I'm sure they would all at least know of each other.

She says Stephanie & Sandy are her friends, but never said the two of them knew each other. Plus even if the two had known each other they were not the same age so they most likely would not have been very close, stephanie would have been to Sandy as Delores(Paulette's lil' sister) is to Stephanie.

He's from Australia and just came to America, so how would they know him?

He was from England, not Australia.
