Frances is an all-time favourite and yes, I think Lange's performance is superior to Streep's in Sophie's Choice. Lange is on a whole other level if you ask me. This film is exquisite and it's a shame it appears to now exist as a sort of 'forgotten classic.' 3000 votes or so on imdb...why?!
