Uncut Version Will Be Included On DVD!
I was just on AV Maniacs, and I started a thread there announcing the pre-orders of Galaxy Of Terror and Forbidden World, and a guy named Cliff Mac responded---he's one of the producers working on these very releases---and he just confirmed that the uncut version of Forbidden World, MUTANT, will be included on the DVD!
Yee-Ha!
Mark your calenders---July 20th is it's release, also coming that same day Galaxy Of Terror!

Anyone's who not familiar with it's editing, I found this entry on page 2 of this thread:
There is actually a director's cut of Mutant (AKA Forbidden World) at UCLA Archives with 12 minutes of pure, outrageous comedy that was deleted (unhappily) from the movie after the first sneak preview. Mutant was not a sequel to Galaxy Of Terror, but was started on the spaceship set of Galaxy Of Terror (designed by Jim Cameron). The set was available for one day, a Sunday, because first unit shot on it during the week, second unit shot on Saturday and the set was redressed on Monday as a burnt set. Roger Corman asked Allan Holzman on the Tuesday before that Sunday to create a 7 to 8 minute opening of a space movie that could go anywhere. After the sneak preview, the title was unfortunately changed from Mutant to Forbidden World and the ad art was changed to the ad art from Galaxy Of Terror. The line that was used during the shooting on the crew t-shirts was: "Where the slime ends the blood begins."
