Final specs for the Blu-Ray release of our beloved sleazy, B-movie, sci-fi epic!! I posted the same stuff for Galaxy of Terror on that board.

Damn near 30 years later, but looks worth the wait.

Celebrate!! Forbidden World finally on a digital format and the best we'll ever see.

The 2 Disc Blu-Ray specs:

* Interviews with cast and crew including director Allan Holzman, composer Susan Justin and actor Jesse Vint
* A look at the special effects of Forbidden World with John Carl Buechler, Robert Skotak, Tony Randal and R. Christopher Biggs

Disc 2:
* Audio commentary with director Allan Holzman on the director's cut (SD-DVD) Full-Frame.

Actually Galaxy of Terror is the better film of the two. It has great production values and effects for a low budget movie.

Forbidden World is horrible in a fun cheesy way. It has excellent gore effects but lousy creature effects and the acting for the most part is pretty bad too.

FORBIDDEN WORLD is much more horror-oriented.

It's the "inferior" film of the two, but I actually liked it better than GALAXY OF TERROR -- it's more fun.

OM EFFIN G LOL I can't believe I FINALLY found this movie AND people who appreciate it! I remember watching this movie when I was a kid (about 9 or 10) on cable and being the only person in the room not scared ****less! All I could remember about it was that the alien was killed with a tumor at the end and I have been looking for it every since! Thanks people! You have DEFINITELY brought back some good memories! OH btw...anybody remember X-Tro? LOL That was the other movie we watched that night btw
