I swear the opening sequence has got to be the most used Stock Footage from a pryor movie used the most times. It seems in the 80's the only stock footage anyone can use is from this 1980 sleeper which I loved so much. I guess they didn't mind the battle action scenes being used but nothing beats the original.

Hi! You are correct, the starfighter scenes are from "Battle Beyond The Stars" which director Alan Holzman was editor on and like "Forbidden World" was a Roger Corman New Worlds film production. The sets and some costumes were recycled from "Galaxy Of Terror" as well. Bits of all 3 films can also be seen in the opening credits sequence for "Not Of This Earth" from 1988, which was also a Corman production directed by Jim Wyrnorski who wrote the script for "Forbidden World".
