Is this the film where, at one point, one of the female characters tries to communicate with the alien and it kills her in a very hair-curling way? As in a tentacle penetrating her between the legs and coming out her belly?

If you were observing this nutty planet, would YOU want to make contact?

It came out her neck. But yes, this is that film.
