The great film as a first step towards the power of the sequels
Over the past 20 years I've very carefully observed how this happens to be the film that make people fall back on when they lose the appeal of the sequels or never even got to that stage.
I was there myself, at the very beginning since I was 10 I have easily climbed up to the level of a film like Rambo III and felt how powerful it was, because children are naturally more sensitive and open, but gradually as I hit puberty I started losing it, and puberty also naturally tends to create more of an ego and cynicism in us, I started feeling how cheesy and cartoonish they are, it took me 10 years to get back to that appeal that sequels have when I was around 25, then it hit me again after watching Rambo 2 about 3 times in a row during one day. Now First Blood is a great film, truly great powerful film, once I started appreciating sequels again, I felt the same about FB, but I felt sequels were even greater and more powerful than the first film. This is very interesting.
The older I am the more greatness I see in those later films, less realistic the more powerful they are. I have been seeing this phenomenon happening among other people too, First Blood never got any weaker in their mind once people became attuned to the sequels a lot more, now Rambo films were completely life changing because of those sequels.
There is a hidden magic in those films. First film is the easiest and most accessible to watch for adults, because it stays grounded, and looks and feels like most films made, it's ironically not even the film that made the character such a phenomenon in the first place, it is great, but does not have that hidden appeal of later film that demand the audience to have more imagination, and that's exactly what children used to have a lot more.
But it is never too late to grow that high level of imagination again even in later age, imagination that even many children do not have, your taste in things will change dramatically. I would suggest to decalcify your pineal gland, not to drink fluoride in the water, instead only distilled water, eat vegan, or raw vegan, one meal during the day, etc..
There's many exercises on it. The less imagination the more people are prone to disease, addictions, altzheimer, anger, hatred, etc. Because it is related to the health of our pineal gland in the brain. Our healthiest state is when we were children.
