WHAT AN ODD FILM,WHO IS WHO? spoilers

Watching this again for the first time in years on a cheap dvd with 3 other action films on it,not sure if it ever was a stand alone release.

This film seemed at the time like an extended episode of THE PROFESSIONALS,which is not surprising because it was made by some of the same people.

The plot is crude but based on real people and organisations.
The film has poor reputation and it is not very good but if you can view it as a period piece it is fun to watch.

The bleeding heart churchman is surely somebody like SOPER or HUDDLESON and THE PEOPLE'S LOBBY is obviously inspired by a Trot outfit popular which used to be popular in the acting profession.
(I don't want to get sued).
It is interesting that the PEOPLE'S LOBBY are shown as getting money from Arab sources,which was/is true of some of these groups but I don't think this was common knowledge at the time.

Around the time this film was made CND and far left groups were making a big effort to recruit youth by way of concerts and demos,it seems like a hundred years ago,but we still have front organisations which are never short of money.
