Deleted scenes rundown

01. A dialogue scene at All-American Burger with Spicoli and his pals occur when he explains that he got a guitar pick supposedly given to him by Mick Jagger.

02. Dennis Taylor reprimands Brad after he threw a strainer of fries in the trash bin, but Brad tells him they were left over from the last shift. He secretly tells Dennis to go comb his hair.

03. When Linda and Stacy are leaving the mall, they are met by a girl (played by Hallie Todd in one of her earliest roles) asking Linda for advice how to have sex without getting pregnant.

04. A dialogue scene occurs between Stacy, Brad, and his pals in the auditorium during the first day of school.

05. A scene featuring Spicoli and his pals smoking dope in the boy's bathroom.

06. Another dialogue scene occurs in the cafeteria when Stacy talks to a cheerleader.

07. While in Stacy's room, Linda asks her how her night with Ron Johnson was.

08. Linda and Stacy are in the mall parking garage where Stacy notices Ron's car, but Linda shoos her away from it and tells her to forget about him.

09. More dialogue scenes in the mall arcade with Spicoli, Damone, and Mark. We also see Ron being led away by police in handcuffs.

10. A telephone conversation between a half-naked Linda and Stacy as she tells Linda she is not sure about her date with Mark.

11. After Brad is fired from All-American Burger, we see him in his bedroom angrily tearing up a Coca-Cola poster on his wall.

12. A scene with Brad meeting with Mrs. O'Rourke, the guidance counselor, telling Brad to buckle down and start acting like an adult.

13. Linda embraces a tearful Stacy when she tells her Damone got her pregnant.

14. A rather tedious scene with Stacy at the free clinic getting an abortion.


These scenes were actually on some early screenings of the film until Universal decided to re-edit the film and cut them out. Some first-run HBO airings from 1983-84 have all these scenes retained. The edited for TV versions keeps some deleted scenes, but not all of them.
