Just a typical A-hole who is one and done. I do think he regretted hooking up with his best friend's sort-of girlfriend, so he chose to just stay away. That ended up being such a dick move, but like many creeps, the total brush-off lets them think it never happened.
And yeah, I think part of him wanting to pretend it never happened was because of how long he lasted. Talk about embarrassing. He really realized he was not the stud he pretended to be.
Edit: I realize you may be asking why he was so distant immediately after the act. Incase you do, I'll say Damone definitely acted so awkward, and distant because of embarrassment. And a lot of immature guys right after the act just want to bail. He reminds me of that kind of jerk-off. Was he immediately regretting the hookup because of Rat? Maaaybe, but I don't know that that sunk in until later.
Well believe it or not some guys are like that. Also some guys who end, before they begin, act that way to make up for their " short- cumings". Pun intended!
