When Damone brings Rat's wallet to the German restaurant when he's on the date with Stacey, he picks up something from their table. It looks crunchy but a liquid comes out when he bites into it. I've seen this movie countless times and I still can't figure out what it is.

Not sure German restaurants are big on peppers, but maybe.
edit- I just watched the new Criterion blu ray. It does look like a pepper. I think I saw a stem. Never seen an olive with a stem before. It definitely wasn't a pair of olives. lol idiot
