Let me debunk this really idiotic fan fiction
Apparently some people think that ET and Star Wars take place in the same universe because if you look very very very closely you can see some aliens that look like ET in the Senate meeting in Phantom Menace. As moronic as that sounds it also makes no sense because in ET, Elliot literally has Star Wars action figures so that would mean that Eliot is living in the same universe as a movie that he can watch on TV.
