I watched this movie on DVD last night and I really liked it. Peter Coyote, Drew Barrymore Henry Thomas and Dee Wallace were really great in the cast. I especially liked the scene where E.T. goes home in a space ship.

If they did a remake they should have ET run into one of the nutty ancient astronaut theorists from the Ancient Aliens show.

Always a nice movie to be seen from time to time.
