I never got to go on the ET ride!

Some years ago I visited Universal Studios. Just as I was about to go on the ET ride, there was a minor earthquake. (NOT simulated, but a real one.) Thankfully it was just some minor tremors, but they shut down the ride because of it. Now, just a few weeks ago, I came back to Universal Studios...and they scrapped ET! I'd always wanted to go on it, but I never got to! Anyone who got to ride it, I'd like to know, what was it like?

Just look it up on youtube. There are recordings people secretly did of the ride itself.

I rode it in Universal Florida. I am a senior and got air sick & dizzy but it was otherwise great. You fly through the forest at night & see ET. His heart glows red. I forgot how it ends. Try it; it even featured the sounds of the forest; very authentic.

Ride it at universal florida! I rode it 4 times when I was there last summer on my honeymoon.

I never got to play the Atari game. I guess I need to get a shovel and take a road trip to the New Mexico desert.

I had the Atari game. Wasn't much fun to play.

I came to this board thinking of this ride!

It is still there. I went there last november. It gave me a warm fuzzy feeling watching the original E.T. and the younger Steven Spielberg.
