Good single by a great artist. I have to wonder though, how likely is it a 15/16 year old "SoCal" teen would be into Elvis Costello in 1982 to the point he sings the songs to himself. Don't know what kind of exposure Costello would have been getting on L.A. area radio stations in the early 80s. Maybe Michael was just progressive and had good taste in music....perhaps he had seen Elvis' infamous SNL performance.
