In my top ten overrated list.

I'm right there with ya with ET. Man I just tried to watch it again and just couldn't make it through. I didn't even like it that much when it came out when I was 11. The movie is pretty bad. Well, it's a cutesy kid's film or family film or whatever - I guess for that it's pretty good.

I like Birdman, though.

The Dark Knight and everything else Nolan

Is it a hipster thing? All of those are great movies.

I won't disagree with the notion a few of these films are overrated, but overall your list just screams that you haven't seen a film before the year 1980. Get more experienced.
