This is not simply just a wonderful movie full of imaginative out of this world storylines and well performed tear to the eye performances.This is a movie that erases all the bad in you and replaces it with true happiness and joy.
shareE.T. has a rather unique ability to act as a sort of touchstone, taking you back to that hopeful pre-teen mindset where anything is possible.
Like taking a shower, it obviously doesn't last, and you're soon covered in the muck and grime of adulthood and the real world once again, but it's good to stop and bathe in stuff like this every now and then.

I agree. I love E.T. just as passionately now as I did the first time I saw it. And E.T. is one of those rare films that always makes you feel comfortable and happy. It never EVER fails to put me in a good mood.
