I had made a topic here about how is it possible that one, if not THE most popular/famous/beloved single movie of all time (and I mean not part of a trilogy or whatever), is not in IMDB's Top-250, but it was deleted, so I post it again. It's unbelievable. "E.T." doesn't have a place in the 250 most popular films of all time?? And "Interstellar" has? There's something wrong with people today...

This film belongs in the Top 250. I think it's a classic film :)

This film belongs in the Top-50, not just Top-250!! It's an all time classic film, right next to "It's a Wonderful Life" and "The Wizard of Oz"!

Yeah, well, it just goes to show how arbitrary these kinds of lists are, especially concerning older, classic films. This is generally regarded as one of the greatest movies ever made, and, arguably (The Wizard of Oz could make a claim for number one) the greatest kids film ever made. But, just my opinion...along with millions of others.
