Never gonna happen. I don't think any of Spielberg's films has been remade as of yet.

I think Spielberg still has more than enough power in Hollywood to put the hammer down on anybody who even suggests it.
And Mac & Me has me kinda curious? Anybody actually see this?

When he dies - I am sure the idea will be brought up. And knowing Hollywood...they'll see hundreds of millions and agree to a remake.
shareI used to love Mac And Me as a kid. Watched it again a year or so ago with my son who's 8. The nostalgia tears were flowing that day! I think it's a great little film and my son really enjoyed it. I'd say if you can get a chance to see it, go for it. Although some of the effects are a bit shoddy, and the product placement is ridiculous, it's charming in it's own way.
