Frogs at her feet

That scene where Elliott get taken to the principal's office after kissing the girl she moves her foot and the frogs just come leaping into the scene...

Was it suppose to mean something? It seems odd if it didn't.

I think that it means that the kiss was so powerful that she didn't care about the frogs there is a part when the girl was screaming when some kid put a frog on her feet and then after the kiss she didn't care about the frogs because of the kiss.

reply

I don't think so. It was just visually interesting.

The way she twists her ankle is supposed to illustrate that she's smitten. It's comparable to the way women in old-timey films might raise one of their feet when being kissed. A distinctly feminine gesture implies awakening sexuality. I would have thought this would be clear to any human.

reply

It is now. Thank you both.
