Could it have been like that movie 'The Other'?

In case anyone doesn't remember The Other, it was a book and then a movie about a set of twins who end up doing some serious damage. SPOILER - if you don't want to know about the book, stop now.

Anyhoo, it turns out the one twin died, and the other one has been either possessed by him or had multiple personality disorder. But, in the movie, you see both twins because the living one still feels and see the other (hence, the title). Could this movie be the same in that the living daughter does all the killing but you think it's the dead daughter?

What do you guys think?

...I believe that this is the case. Mary was only going crazy, and seeing a vision of her sister the entire time, much like the little boy was in that movie, "The Other."

The scene at the very end of the film was only to hint that some state of dementia might have finally reached the mother as well. This was even hinted at when the doctor asked her if there was any history of it in her family.

~decent oldschool film BTW..

No, the ending, Kevin's death after either seeing "Jennifer" or being pushed by her when Mary was in the yard, and the fact that the ghost/entity was moving inanimate dolls I'd say points conclusively towards a ghost or entity of some sort also being present. It's very similar to Session 9 and The Ugly, 15 and 19 years after it respectively.
