This movie scared the crap out of me when I was a kid. The worst part is when she rolls under her bed and her sister suddenly appears. Gave me nightmares! But just one question to anyone who can help! Why did she get stuck in the car? Did the sister tie her shoelaces or something?

Kevin conspired with Mary to pull a prank on Jennifer and it was Kevin who actually tied her shoelaces. Mary whispered "Don't wake her up!" so Kevin would tie her shoelaces carefully. Then the accident happened and what Mary did was to shut the car's door after everyone already left, except for Jennifer. She did that just to scare her sister, knowing Jennifer would be terrified to stay in the car with her shoes tied together. However Mary didn't have the slightest idea that the car was at explosion risk. When it did explode, poor Mary went into great shock which eventually developed into guilt.
