Is this the movie where there are two girls in the car and they are leaving their grandma's house and the two kids tie the laces of jennifer's shoes together as a joke and she can't escape the buring car? Then the dead girl posseses her sister. And the boy falls off the roof? The creepyest thing is when she stands at the end of her sisters bed. I've seen this movie a few times.

Wow! I was thinking about this movie the other day and I couldn't remember the title to it, so I had to type in a really ridiculous long piece in the search engine on google LOL. But hey, I found it.

I watched this film on TV when I was kid, I remember it was really creepy but I loved it.

Dear ajq: INFORMATION: DON'T GO TO SLEEP was released by Unicorn Video, Inc. in 1989. I have an original video of it. I never thought the tape was that hard to find because I bought it new from Blockbuster Video (via a Special Order) back in the mid-1990s for $29.95, but I guess it is now.

Beware of little girls bearing pizza cutters. Yikes.

Can you still make out the picture through the lines and bluriness?

reply

Yo, Eye-talian Greyhound, how goes it?

I bought my tape of DON'T GO TO SLEEP brand new -- ergo, there were no lines from wear and overuse and the picture wasn't blurry, either.

Besides that, TV MOVIES DO NOT BELONG ON DVD's. Period.

What kind of picture quality do you think people watching the movie on TV in 1982 got to see? TV's weren't advanced in picture and sound like they are now.

Or didn't you know that?

Anyway, greaseball, 'til next time. -CG

Hmm, I didn't know that getting a nice, clear picture on your TV screen could be considered such a bad thing. What planet do you live on?
The people watching the movie in 1982 weren't able to get a better picture at the time because the technology wasn't available to do so. Now that the technology is there, why not take advantage of it? Are you afraid of progression? Thankfully most people aren't, or we'd still be listening to music on 8 track cassettes and watching movies on blurry and fuzzy VHS tapes.
