Does anyone know exactly what they used for those scurrying little things in both this movie and Labrynth? At times, they look as if they are tossed, then other times they look mechanical as they are able to turn. This has interested me for a long time as it adds so much to the scenes they are in.
shareAre you talking about the little furry things the Skeksis eat at dinner? I don't know about Labyrinth, but in this, they used little wind-up mechanical toys, pasted some fur on them, and let them run wild across the table.

He wanted something that could compare to your mouse or rat that would normally be running around the floors of certain scene's, but it needed to look like a fairy tale rodent. Indeed they were in a few episodes of Fraggle Rock, Labyrinth and Dark Crystal
