This freaked me out when I was a kid
I loved it but I was afraid of it at the same time. Did it scare anyone else?

This movie scared the crap out of me as a kid!
Some scenes are still terrifying & hard to watch! The scenes where those forest folk (forgot their name now) get their life force burned out of them so the Skeksis can drink it....
The scenes where the long-legged creatures get killed by the Garthim. Even when we think Fizzgig is thrown in the fire (the sound of it screaming), and the scene where Kira is attacked.
Like many movies of the '80s, this film really was NOT for kids. I grew up in the '80s, so I was probably 'tougher' than most kids of today lol, but there still needed to be stronger film ratings back then.
