This was one of my favourite movies as a child, and still is. What I love most about Dark Crystal, asides from its stunning visuals, is the music score which I think is absolutely wonderful and compliments the film beautifully.
Anyone else who loves the music as much as I do?

I agree, sometimes I just watch this movie for the music, even though the castle was the thing that drew my attention.
It's up there with the Star Wars Saga, Thomas and the Magic Railroad, Nighmare Before Christmas, Batman, Batman Returns, Jaws, Ed Wood, Lord of the Rings, Jurassic Park, Gettysburg, and the Mel Brooks Parodies as far as great music goes.

Absolutely! I must have heard it at least a thousand times over the years, beginning to end. I finally bought the two disc edition off eBay and love it, too.
