k, how could the crate creature break out of the crate at the bottom of the river, but not while henry is driving with it in his car in the back seat? makes no freaking sense at all. you'd think he would just to get to henry to devour him as the others..

I know, because everything in a horror movie paying homage to 1950s EC comics MUST adhere to the rules of reality.

the ending is not real- it's just meant to give the audience yet another shock

usually movies, comic books, short stories, could and will end on a ridiculous note that may not make sense because of shock value.

ie. Friday the 13th ? Halloween?
maybe there was never a creature in the crate but two very, very insane professors? hmmm
