The show was based off of a 1950's magazine?

I think I read that the show was made to resemble an old horror magazine. Does anyone know the name of it??

This film is inspired by the 1950s horror comics but not based on one in particular.

"They're eating her. Then they're going to eat me! Oh my GOOOOOOOD!"

They actually made a comic book of this movie.
It's quite rare to find these days...well an original one is anyway.

And so, God came forth and proclaimed widescreen is the best.
