CLASS OF 1984 on the big screen on Friday, February 13th!
If you live anywhere near Durham, North Carolina and would like to see the cult classic CLASS OF 1984 on the big screen (on 35mm, no less!) you will have your chance very soon. For one night only, as part of their Nevermore Film Festival triple feature fundraiser, the Carolina Theatre of Durham is running CLASS OF 1984 as part of a triple feature with two other cult classics, TRANSFORMERS: THE MOVIE and AN AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON.
The show is on Friday night, February 13, 2009, with TRANSFORMERS starting at 7:30pm, AN AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON starting at 9:15pm and CLASS OF 1984 starting at 11:00pm. If you've never attended one of the repertory screenings at the Carolina Theatre they are a lot of fun, and they feature vintage trailers and door prizes before each show. All screenings are done with original 35mm film prints, and the best part is that tickets are just $10.00 to see all three films (which is a terrific deal).
You can purchase tickets online right here by clicking on the space that reads "Nevermore Fundraiser Triple Feature":
