TEENAGE HEAD

When I heard the opening chords to "Ain't Got No Sense" I almost pissed myself.
As soon as it cut to Teenage Head onstage, I screamed.
As far as I know (and as far as I've seen) it's hard to get your hands on Teenage Head CDs/Records nowadays, so no doubt this bit of footage is a pretty good find.
I'm surprised no one else mentioned the band, are there any other Teenage Head fans on here?

reply

I wouldn't say I'm a fan, but I really liked the music in the film - probably because I've seen it so many times.

I did a search on the web for Teenage Head and there isn't much there, which is a shame.

Yeah, the only way to find Teenage Head stuff now a days is on ebay, most of which goes for a hefty price. I've actually found quite a bit of the first release over the years on the net, still missing a couple of tracks though.

reply

Yeah It is a shame, however they have an official page at http://www.teenagehead.net/

I have some of the old gramophone records I have transfered into mp3 -:o>

I think teenage head should have made the teme song instead of alice coper, they have the agressive punk rock atitude, my opinion is that the alice cooper song really gives the impression that this is a really boring and politically correct movie.

A better teenage head website is www.geocities.com/lucy_potato

It has alot of cool pictures and people from all over keep the thing updated with up coming shows and such. The footage of teenage head in Class of 1984 though is cut with the studio version from their self titled debut. *beep* eh?

i like teenage head

reply

Nah, I really dig the alice cooper song on the film. It makes it a really early 80's sounding.
