Is there going to be an remake??

I've heard rumors that the director of this film that he's planning to do a remake.. But, it seems that there isn't going to be one, because it's not on the director's upcoming production list on his imdb profile..

If he's not going to make an remake, that's fine with me. Usually, some remake movies aren't quite good.. unless if they hire really good writers. If the director still looking for a new writer, actor, and a film director. Then here's my suggestion:

Maybe I should be a writer or co-writer for the remake. It'll be based on the 80s, and the film will be thriller, drama, and crime. It'll still have a good old humor as the first one and maybe to develop a little emotional of this remake.

As for the actors, here's my top 4 actors list for the character Andy:

Bryan Cranston (He'd be perfect!)
Robert Downey, Jr (Still.. but don't know if he got the anger)
Clark Gregg (Y'all Know him as Phil from the Avengers)
Myself as Grant Robert Daily (I'm sort of the actor, but I don't know if I'll fit the right part.. I'm also joking about this. Lol )

As for the director, the only director choice I can think of is: Joss Whedon. Y'all remember his famous film "The Avengers", but he did direct "Much Ado About Nothing" and "Serenity" his directing skills looks good enough to do the remake. Just saying.
