To those of you that "Class Of 1999" was a sequal your wrong but i see how ppl would mistake it for a sequal the title, the troublesome kids, and the director, But class of 1999 is a sci-fi film class of 1984 was based on real incidents. Also Class of 1999 actually had an almost unwatchable sequal "Class Of 1999 2 the substitute" so there you have it class of 1999 is NOT a sequal.

Class of 1999 was directed by the same man, Mark Lester, so can well be a sequal.
Sci-fi? yes, but it is set many years after the original, in an allegorical future.
