What's Timothy Van Patten's problem with this movie?

NOWHERE online can I find any interviews with him talking about his role as Stegman in this movie. There is a 4 hour interview with him where he doesn't once mention 84 when he talks about his entire career. I've heard from some one on this board that he doesn't like the movie, I'm guessing that is true, but does anyone know why?

Well, for obvious fundamental reasons, the movie sucks. He is portrayed as a teenage terrorist who runs a Prostitution ring and Drug business. The dialogue is ridiculous. Timothy looked embarrassed to play this stupid role and I don't blame him. Most actors in the formative portion of their careers were duped into doing bad career choices. He was only 23 then. He has matured and wised up since then.

LOL. This has to be it. This movie is fantastically awful and I laugh every time I see it, but I don't blame one actor involved from purging it out of the old resume.

This movie is better than most 80s movies to be honest lol

reply

The film is trash. Anyone would be ashamed to talk about it.

Then why are you on this board discussing the movie?

reply

I know right? Guy is retard lol

reply

Granted, it's not an Oscar type of movie, but it was good in its own way.

I love this movie. My favorite part is when Stegman plays the piano and the looks on everyone's faces, even his bad girl with pink hair all have this jaw dropping look. I always get the chills.
