Hey! What was James Earl Jones thinking? How do you start here and end up as Mufasa? He was best as Thulsa Doom!!

shareThis movie sucked, everything about it was bad. Hell, in some places, they hadn't even syncronized the lips and the speech!!! The acting wasn't especially good either...
shareI gotta admit this flick was pretty bland and dull. It's a good example of a wasted opportunity: the cast is solid (James Earl Jones, Jose Ferror, Lila Kedrova), the Greek locations are breathtakingly beautiful, Deborah Shelton, Mary Louise Weller and Lydia Cornell all are smokin' hot, the story is fresh and interesting, but the flat direction, a goofy-looking monster, and way too much boring talk make this film a real insipid and forgettable stiff. Clearly a remake is in order here.

skip to the last couple of chapters of the DVD. Watch Shelton writhing on the rock and then the inappropriate kiss with her brother. Makes one reconstruct the meaning of the film.
shareThere is meaning?

You kids are freakin hilarious! What exactly did you expect from a low-budget flick from the 80's such as this? Honestly, if you are going to post a review for a flick such as this, at least admit that you were completely out of your skull!
shareAbsolute perfection in the face of woofing! My kids adore this, but they are all dead.
Nothing is more beautiful than nothing.

A better movie? A movie that's so bad it's good? I didn't get either with this film- it provided no entertainment for me- it was dull and boring. I've seen plenty of low budget(some shot on video)horror films from the 80's- some are like Blood Tide- . But some are well made and inventive(The Evil Dead, Long Island Cannibal Massacre), while others are bad and cheesy but they still manage to provide entertainment value(Slugs, Pieces, Don't Go In The Woods).
Hey, this guy's not gonna leak all over my ice cream, is he?share
