When Deckard is viewing the profiles of the replicants...


...why does he seem confused when he sees Roy Batty? Deckard asks "What's this?" to Bryant, as if he's never seen a Nexus 6 before. Why does he react like that when he already saw Leon's profile, who is also a Nexus 6? Is it because he can somehow tell by looking at him that Roy Batty is a stronger "combat model"?

I always assumed he was reacting to Roy's physical and mental attributes, which were both "A". Roy was the first model to be given the same level of intelligence as the genetic engineers who made him, like Tyrell, making him more dangerous. His superior intelligence is seen in his conversation about extending his life before Tyrell's death scene.
