Why didn't Roy hide JF's body?? THATS why Deckard went to JF's.

The only reason Deckard checked out JF's apartment was because Bryant told him to check it out after JF's body was found at Tyrell's place. So by leaving JF's body there to be found by the cops, Roy was endangering Pris back at JF's because of course the cops would check his apartment out after finding him murdered.

"The only reason Deckard checked out JF's apartment was because Bryant told him to check it out after JF's body was found at Tyrell's place."

To me what needs to be understood are Roy's expectations with the Tyrell meeting and how Roy's hopes were completely destroyed.
- It seems that Roy thought that he and Pris could get their life extended.
Then maybe they could somehow survive on earth or on an off world colony.

When Tyrell told Roy that all Nexis 6 four-year lifespans could never be changed, he knew that he and Pris were doomed.
This huge disappointment imo resulted in Roy feeling out of control rage for his creator, the god of biomechanics.
In his rage Roy killed Sebastian and left the horror of that situation. He wasn't thinking about hiding bodies at that point.
Roy's face in the elevator shows a person becoming unhinged and not thinking clearly.

There is more strange behavior by Roy which can be due to the death of Pris.
And that argument would be fair.
But I'd say that Roy began to unravel when Tyrell told him that the 4 year lifespan could not be changed.

Imo at least, BB ;-)

it is just in my opinion - imo - 🌈

I guess that's the only thing that makes sense but then again, if Roy was so sure Tyrell could extend his and Pris's lives then why didn't Roy bring Pris to see Tyrell too?

Why would Roy leave Pris at JF's? In my mind it must have been because Roy first wanted to check out what Tyrell would say first.

What BB-15 said. Plus, maybe Roy didn't realize that the police would be able to trace their location to Sebastian's home this way. Or just that they would it so quickly. He was intelligent, but inexperienced.

Why would Roy leave Pris at JF's?

Probably in case security turned out to be tighter. Pris was not a combat model. I'm sure he also wanted her to be able to live out what time she had left if the mission went sour.

Thit and thpin!

My reasoning goes along with what was mentioned at the end of Snake's post. Snake wrote;

For Pris' safety she was in the apartment. With a blade runner hunting them, the apartment of a genetic designer would be a good place for her to be.

"Roy was so sure Tyrell could extend his and Pris's lives"

Imo the movie does not present that kind of certainty. It was more like a suicide mission with a slim chance that they could get help.
Pris knows this;
Roy: There's only two of us now.
Pris: Then we're stupid and we'll die.

Deckard tells the audience that replicants going to earth is a bad idea.
Deckard: Well I don't get it. What do they risk coming back to earth for? That's unusual.

Even though Roy's plan does not make logical sense, what he thought up was to try to overthrow the replicant system for him and his friends.
- Get Tyrell, the center of power, to undo the 4 year limit and to let them go free.
This goes against the basic government/business setup which runs the entire solar system.
- Roy, the tragic hero, was trying to undo the slavery system for his group at least.

"In my mind it must have been because Roy first wanted to check out what Tyrell would say first."

I'm fine with agreeing to disagree.

With my view though there is no backup plan for Roy and his friends.
They either get to Tyrell and persuade him to undo the core of the slavery system (the time limit on the replicants) or they will die anyway because their 4 year life limit is almost up.
As Roy says to Sebastian;
Roy: If we don't find help soon, Pris hasn't got long to live. We can't allow that.

I don't see Roy and his group having many choices if they were going to live longer.
- Instead I see their efforts as a focused freedom fighter operation to get to Tyrell on the wild hope that he can undo the 4 year limit and somehow persuade the authorities to let Roy and his band go free.
- It's a desperate hope which in the end was doomed to fail.

Considering all the research that we here come out of Roy's mouth, I think he already knew what he was asking was impossible. But he needed to hear it from Tyrell. His intention was to take out his creator as revenge for the doom he inflicted on Roy, Pris, Leon, Zhora and the rest of the replicants.

He also intended to take out JF. JF was a willing conspirator. His own genetic malady was a hint of what was done to the human clones under his and Tyrell's hand. I think they used a form of progeria to speed up the cell cycle of the replicants and causing their premature deaths.

However after the deed was done, I also don't think Roy was thinking properly. He was too stressed and he only realized that Pris was in danger too late.

Yes, it is implied in the script that JF's progeria (Methuselah's syndrome) was used to create the 4-year life span.

"Pris: Thanks. -- How old are you?
Sebastian: Twenty-five.
Pris: What's your problem?
Sebastian: Methuselah's syndrome.
Pris: What's that?
Sebastian: My glands. They grow old too fast.
. ~~~~~~~~~~ .
Sebastian: What generation are you?
Roy: Nexus six.
Sebastian: Ah, I knew it. 'Cause I do genetic design work for the Tyrell Corporation. There's some of me in you."

Impossible is illogical.
