Harrison Ford On Blade Runner

Harrison Ford says: "I felt it was important for the audience to have a human representation on the screen that they can identify with."

However, the irony is that many, if not most, people identify with the replicants and not Deckard.

Notice also how, according to Ford, there is only one hint (a little piece of origami) in the movie that suggest Deckard might be a replicant. This goes to show that Ford is still unaware of the more subtle clues in the film. Maybe it's time for him to watch Blade Runner again?

I've always related more towards Deckard, which may not be a good thing. I personally always felt Deckard was human, even despite what evidence has been added into the movie after it's release. That Unicorn can trot off back to Legend!

I liked even more, the follow on episode with Rutger Hauer.

Impossible is illogical.
Lack of evidence is not proof.

to Alex; That's been Ford's view for a long time; that his character, Deckard, was a naturally born human.
It's ironic how interpretations about Deckard and the movie have changed over time.
But for a long Ford has also had a very negative opinion of his experience with the filming of "Blade Runner".
And I didn't see any change in Ford's of BR for many years.
It's not something that he likes to talk about. In his lengthy Actor's Studio interview, Ford went over all his major films except for BR.

Imo at least, BB ;-)

it is just in my opinion - imo - ๐ŸŒˆ
