Poor Kitty

Before watching this movie today I researched it a bit and noticed a photo of Marc Singer and the big cat. I said to myself, what the hell is that? LOL. Then it hit me, that's a black tiger. Looked it up and according to several posts online, the tiger died two years after the movie was released. He died, reportedly, of complications of having his hair/skin died black.

Good movie tainted.

I was surprised to discover that tigers only live to be about 14-16 years old in captivity, and a mere 10 in the wild; basically the same as a house cat.

I'm afraid times have changed so much that the majority of movies made back in the day have something in them that makes them harder to watch (racial joke, animal cruelty, gender exploitation, etc etc etc).

I'd love to know what future judgmental idiots with no concept of historical context are going to chastise this generation for.

I guess it's life .... didn't matter?

You think that's bad? Look up what happened to the orangutan from Every Which Way but Loose and Any Which Way You Can. I used to like those movies. Since finding out what happened, I won't watch them anymore.
