in the first movie, did one of the ferrets die?

Yeah, one of them fell into the fire when it bit Maax at the end.

is chong podo or kodo equivilant? b/c i know there has been discrepancy about their names but i watched when it said podo and kodo and i was wondering which one is equal to chong?

I've actually never seen this Kodo/Podo version of the movie that supposedly exists, so I can't really say which is the Chong equivalent.

I've only ever seen Koto and Poto. I'm sorry, can't remember which one died in the fire. :((

Kodo, the male one. He bought it in the furnace. Always felt bad for him.
