Remember when this was on TBS every weekend?

Back in the mid to late 80's, the "B" in "TBS" stood for Beastmaster! Seriously, it seemed like it was on twice a weekend. I guess the TBS catalog was pretty thin in those days. Good times. Good times.

I remember those days. I loved the show and would watch it EVERY time it came on.

Yeah I remember when this was on TBS along with "Clash Of The Titans". I remember my parents recorded this and I use to watch it alot. Great times.

Me, too! My brother and I used to watch Beastmaster and Clash of the Titans pretty much every time they came on tv. I am sure my parents were pretty sick of these movies. I remember watching them a lot from the early 80s when they were new films through the mid-80s. By the late 80s, though, I think we had developed new obsessions.

Watching these movies does take me back to childhood, though.

Sometimes an idea is so bad that it starts to be good again.

Not just TBS but local channels as well where I think most people lived growing up.

I vaguely remember it being on TBS. I do remember it being on HBO so much that HBO could've stood for 'Hey Beastmaster is On!"

It was on TBS and TNT WAY more than it was on HBO. I know, hard to believe isn't it.

At the last count, this movie had played 967 times on cable TV.

Yep, it seemed to air daily on TBS and TNT from the late '80s to late '90s, but when it first hit HBO in the early '80s, it aired twice a day, virtually every other day. And knowing the way HBO endlessly rotated the same lineup of movies back then, I find it extremely difficult to believe it had only aired on cable 967 times when Joe Bob Briggs took count.
