Director's cut v.s.original version?
What's the difference between the
original version and the director's cut?
It's gotta be the tit shots, huh? I can't imagine that being allowed in a PG movie, but who knows.

It looks to me like what they're talking about as a "Director's Cut" in the alternate versions section, is that the boobage was cut in the UK for its theatrical release, so their version of it that includes the boobage is considered to be a "Director's Cut".
I saw it on cable and confirm what Cstapleton said as you do see's Tanya boobs in the PG version. Just keep in mind that pre-1984 the PG rating was much broader than it is now (no PG13) and would often include brief nudity and some strong (graphic) violence.
shareTanya Roberts' topless scenes were always in the film (she also has a couple nude scenes in the PG-rated "Sheena: Queen of the Jungle"). In those days, moviemakers could get away with T&A -- and even the occasional dick shot -- and still get a PG rating as long as the nudity wasn't during a sex scene. Which might explain why there were so many skinnydipping scenes in '70s and '80s movies. And, on occasion (as in "The Beastmaster"), a woman could go topless for a sex scene and it would still get a PG rating. The sexual liberation of the '60s and '70s fizzled out sometime in the mid-'80s, and by the politically correct '90s, any nudity (other than a brief butt shot for comical effect) or excessive profanity in films automatically equaled an R rating. Or, these days, a TV-14 MA rating...
Nowadays, "Beastmaster" would get an R for nudity and violence. "The Goonies" might get a PG-13 but it would be pushing R strictly for profanity. "Gremlins" would get an R for disturbing images, including monsters and mayhem. "Meatballs" would get an R for sexual innuendo. An entire generation was raised on films filled with content that the MPAA now deems inappropriate for their children. Go figure.

here in the uk it was different things were butchered in the 80s for video on top of the cuts for cinema, nothing is allowed to be sold without a certificate or rateing, for example terminator 18 cert and cut but recently been put back together and re cert as 15, bruce lee films were another lot that were destroyed by the censors ofice but are now uncut, we are much more free now than back then under the torys,
